Suntrust Resort Holdings, a division of LET Group, has postponed its much-anticipated $1.1 billion hotel and casino project in Manila’s Entertainment City until the fourth quarter of 2025. The project, which was originally slated to debut in late 2024, had already been postponed has to 2025. However, the most recent quarterly report from the company offers a more precise date, indicating further delays for the fifth integrated resort in the precinct.
The main hotel and casino complex’s structural and façade construction has advanced significantly, with important mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems almost finished, according to Suntrust’s third-quarter 2024 filing, which Inside Asian Gaming reported. Even commissioning and testing of some systems has started. However, the project won’t be operationally ready for some time due to ongoing architectural and external civil work.
The report indicated a longer schedule for completion, stating that “Management intends to commence operations of a five-star hotel and casino establishment (Main Hotel Casino) in the fourth quarter of 2025.”
